From sign-up to full school, step by step

Chapter 01

Create your school

Your school gets its own private portal — its own web address, branding and data. Setting it up takes about two minutes.

Sign up and choose a plan

  1. 1On credufy.com, scroll to “Get started” (or click any plan's button).
  2. 2Enter your school's name — a slug is suggested automatically (e.g. Royal Family Academy → “rfa”). The slug becomes your permanent school address: rfa.school.credufy.com, so choose carefully.
  3. 3Enter the admin's name, email and phone — this becomes the school's first admin account.
  4. 4Pick a plan (Basic, Standard, Premium or Enterprise) and monthly or annual billing — annual saves two months.
  5. 5Pay securely with Paystack. Your portal is created within 60 seconds and a welcome email with your sign-in details arrives immediately.

Sign in for the first time

  1. 1Open your school address (your-slug.school.credufy.com) and sign in with the admin email from the welcome message.
  2. 2You land on the Admin Dashboard — your control room for the whole school.

Chapter 02

Set up your school (Admin)

A well-set-up school takes under an hour: branding, classes, subjects, then people. Do it in this order and everything else clicks into place.

Brand your portal

  1. 1Go to Settings and upload your school logo and set your school colour.
  2. 2Your colour and logo appear across every page — and on the weekly report emails parents and teachers receive.

Create classrooms and subjects

  1. 1Open Classrooms and create your classes (e.g. JSS 1A, SS 2B) with their level and term.
  2. 2Open Subjects and add each subject, assigning it to a classroom.
  3. 3Inside a subject, add Topics — each topic holds study notes and its own quiz questions.

Add your people

  1. 1Teachers — create their accounts, then assign them subjects and classrooms (and national exam subjects they should monitor).
  2. 2Students — add them one by one or import a CSV; each student receives a welcome email with their login.
  3. 3Parents — create parent accounts and link each one to their children. Everything a parent sees flows from these links.

Seat limits follow your plan (Basic 50, Standard 150, Premium 500, Enterprise unlimited). You'll see a warning at 80% and can upgrade instantly from the admin dashboard.

Teach the AI about your school

  1. 1Open Knowledge Base and upload your school documents — policies, term dates, fees, handbooks.
  2. 2From then on, students, teachers and parents can use “Ask the School” to get instant answers from those documents.

Communicate

  1. 1Post Announcements to the whole school, a classroom, teachers only, or parents only.
  2. 2They appear on everyone's dashboards, the bell icon, and the parents' Announcements page.

Chapter 03

Daily teaching (Teacher portal)

Teachers get their own portal: content creation, marking, class analytics — and their own professional development.

Teach with subjects, topics and assignments

  1. 1My Subjects holds everything: create topics with study notes and quiz questions inside each subject.
  2. 2Set Assignments from the subject's Assignments tab, with due dates and chosen questions.
  3. 3Create Theory Exams for a class, mark submissions question by question, and download branded question papers and score sheets as PDFs.

Track your students

  1. 1The Dashboard shows AI Insights plus MCQ, theory, national and topic analytics at a glance.
  2. 2Students and Classrooms show every learner's performance — including who is strong and who needs help per subject.
  3. 3National Exams and English Prep show how your students perform in external exam practice.

Grow with TRCN practice (Premium & Enterprise)

  1. 1Under My Development → TRCN Practice, teachers prepare for the Professional Qualifying Examination.
  2. 2Take the diagnostic, study the five domains chapter by chapter, sit timed 100-question mocks, and learn with the AI chat and voice tutors.
  3. 3Admins see every teacher's readiness, mocks and voice-minute usage on the admin Teacher TRCN page.

TRCN practice is covered by the school's plan — teachers never pay anything themselves.

Chapter 04

Learning (Student portal)

Students practise, get instant feedback, and build a daily streak — everything gamified around real exam formats.

A student's week

  1. 1Sign in and check the Dashboard — progress, streak 🔥, announcements and what to do next.
  2. 2Study topics and take their quizzes; complete Assignments before the due date.
  3. 3Practise National Exams (WAEC, JAMB, NECO, BECE) with 120,000+ past questions and see weak areas identified automatically.
  4. 4On Premium: English Prep for IELTS/TOEFL and more — including AI writing feedback and the AI speaking tutor.
  5. 5Check My Performance and the Leaderboard, and keep the streak alive.

Stuck on anything about the school itself? “Ask the School” answers from the school's own documents.

Battle in the Game Arena

  1. 1Open Practice → Game Arena to create or join quiz battles built from the national question bank.
  2. 2Internal games are private to your school; cross-school games are open to every school on Credufy — a Lagos class can battle an Accra class on the same WASSCE paper.
  3. 3Everyone answers the same frozen question set with one timed attempt; highest score wins (fastest time breaks ties).
  4. 4Playing earns XP, winning earns bonuses, and lifetime XP sets your badge — Bronze through Diamond.
  5. 5The International Board ranks the top students across every school and country on the platform.

Schools stay in control: admins can switch off cross-school games, and only a player's name, school and score are ever visible outside their school.

Following along (Parent portal)

Parents see exactly what teachers see about their own children — and get a weekly email so they never have to chase.

Everything about your children

  1. 1The Dashboard shows each child's average, activity and status — Excelling, On track, or Needs support.
  2. 2My Children opens a full profile per child: performance by area, subjects ranked weakest-first, and recent sessions.
  3. 3National Exams and English Prep show pass rates and skill breakdowns per child.
  4. 4Announcements collects school-wide, parent-targeted and class messages in one place.
  5. 5Every week, a branded email report lands in your inbox with highlights, focus areas and AI suggestions.

Chapter 06

AI across the platform

AI is built into every role — always grounded in your school's own data.

What the AI does

  1. 1Ask the School — an assistant for every role that answers from the documents your admin uploads.
  2. 2AI Insights — plain-language observations on dashboards for admins and teachers.
  3. 3Voice tutors — the student English speaking coach and the teacher TRCN tutor, drawing from your school's shared minutes bank (Basic 30 / Standard 100 / Premium 300 / Enterprise 1,500 minutes per month, top-ups from ₦6,500).
  4. 4Weekly report emails — AI-written feedback for every teacher and parent, in your school's branding.
  5. 5Exam proctoring — face matching, tab-switch detection and fullscreen enforcement on Premium and above.

Billing, upgrades & referrals

One subscription covers the whole school — no per-seat fees, cancel anytime.

Earn with referrals

  1. 1Every school admin gets a referral code on the Referral page.
  2. 2When another school subscribes with your code, you earn 10% of their monthly subscription for 12 months, paid to your bank account.
